My ex-boyfriend, Chad Maxford

Chad Maxford was by far the best boyfriend I ever had. He used to write me really cute messages and post charming notes on my Facebook wall. He was very affectionate and always so thoughtful. Unfortunately, he also dated my friends Amanda and Party Kel.

Ok, fine. I’ll admit it. Chad Maxford was a fake. To be more specific, he was a fake Facebook profile. Chad was an invention of Party Kel. She and Amanda made the profile to try to make a guy jealous. It didn’t exactly work.  Fortunately for the rest of us, Chad loved us. His profile picture was that of a J. Crew model. His name was created keeping handsomeness and class in mind. Party Kel is also obsessed with Tucker Max, so she insisted that his name be similar.

Chad Maxford flooded our walls with sweet nothings for a few months. He even got friends requests and flirty messages from random Facebook girls. Then, unfortunately, my friends Amanda got tired of the charade and deleted the profile. He was becoming too much of a man whore.

So here’s to you Chad Maxford. You were an amazing man and we will always remember you. We hope one day your profile is resurrected, so it can once again provide us with false confidence and comfort.
